Gender
justice
depends
on
women’s
ability
to
participate
in
and
influence
decision-making,
whether
in
the
household,
the
community
or
at
national
level.
But
in
Pakistan
violence
against
women
is
endemic,
It is found on streets and in homes, in offices and bedrooms.
Gender-based
violence
in
Pakistan
includes
domestic
violence,
rape,
trafficking,
honor
killings,
forced
prostitution,
public
humiliation,
incest,
child
marriages,
and
sexual
harassment.
Extreme
forms
of
physical
abuse
include
burning,
acid
throwing,
physical
mutilation
and
female
infanticide.
We
particularly
working
for
the
women’s
equal
status
in
family,
active
participation
in
public
life,
and
in
the
processes
of
decision
making.
Enabling
them
to
combat
violations
through
support
structures
at
community levels.
Pakistani
minorities
consist
of
Ahmadis,
Baha’is,
Bud-
dhists,
Christians,
Hindus,
Jains,
Kalasha
(of
Chitral),
Paresis
and
Sikhs.
According
to
1998
Census
the
population
was
137
million.
Muslims
account
96.16%
while
non-Muslims
(religious
minorities)
3.84%
of
the
population.
Pakistani
miniorties
are
facining
religious
discrimination
they
have
to
refused
jobs,
loans,
housing
and
other
similar
things
simply
because
of
their
religious
faith.
Hundreds
of
Hindues
have
fled
Pakistan
to
India
due
to
religious
discrimination.
Pakistan's
blasphemy
laws
are
also
a
death
penalty
for
miniorties
they
can't
express
themselves
freely,
Governor
of
Punjab,
Salmaan
Taseer,
was
killed
by
his
own
bodyguard
on
4
January
2011
and
Federal
Minister
for
Minorities
Affairs,
Shahbaz
Bhatti,
was
killed
on
2
March
2011
for
standing
up
for
a
blasphemy
defendant.
Moreover
Pakistani
Christian
have
faced
swear
attackes
on
Churches
and their populated areas in which number of people loses their lives
